Hand-in-Hand Performathon

The SMEA Hand-In-Hand Performathon is an opportunity for instrumental and voice students of all ages and levels to perform for artistic enrichment, community service and charitable causes. In 2021, the donation will benefit the Hope For Children Foundation in supporting their music-related projects.
Performers will collect tax deductible donations from friends and relatives before the recital.
Hope For Children Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to enhancing the lives of the children who are in need of assistance. The HFCF has been providing help, hope and happiness for the children Since 2004.    HFCF WEBSITE

REGISTRATION: April 1 to April 20, 2021
Please register in the following link: REGISTER or, mail in the paper form. 

With teacher’s permission, parents can sign up for their children to perform.
Teachers are encouraged to sign up for their students as a group. The teachers of performers must be SMEA members in good standing.

FEES: No registration fee. Instead, performers will collect donations from friends and relatives before the recitals. Please fill the donor's record in the following link: DONOR RECORD 
or, mail the donor's record paper form. 
Suggested minimum contribution: $50 per performer. All donations checks must be mailed by teachers or parents to SMEA by May 5th, 2021. The confirmation of donations will be sent along with the ZOOM Recital link. All donation checks should be made out to Shore Music Educators Association, and mail to Shore Music Educators Association, P.O. Box 4, Holmdel, NJ 07733
Performers may circulate their own pre-recorded performance video among their contributors, or invite them to attend the ZOOM Recital.

RECITALS: ZOOM Live Recital
Saturday, 5/15/2021, 1pm, 2pm, and, Sunday, 5/16/2021, 3pm, 4pm
Additional time slots are available for teachers who wish to block a slot as their studio recital.
Recitals are open only to the registered performers, guests and SMEA members. Spaces are limited as first come first served. Please update the current version of ZOOM before attending Recital.

Recognition: Performer will receive certificate and community hours from Shore Music Educators Association.
